The Stillwater Prairie Reserve, the most diverse habitat in the area, features wetlands, meadows, river frontage, rolling hills and woodlands - all united by one path. Many trails are suitable for cross county skiing in season. Set on 380 acres, Stillwater Prairie has over 4 miles of hiking trails & boardwalks, a 3 acre wetland with observation tower, diverse wildlife, two fishing ponds (no license necessary here) plus a wildlife pond, a native Ohio remnant prairie, and the Stillwater River runs through it! A fishing license is required to fish in the river. Picnic shelters (call to reserve), grills, restroom facilities, a large mowed field that lends itself to games, kite flying, or other passive activities, ample parking, and drinking water all make a visit to Stillwater Prairie an wonderful, peaceful experience.
