Garbry's Big Woods Sanctuary is a 100 acre site with a .7 mile boardwalk loop winding through an undisturbed woodland habitat containing sensitive & rare plants, a prolific display of seasonal flowers - labeled for educational purposes. Handicapped accessible. Drinking water available.
The Reserve is 172 acres that includes an arboretum containing a variety of native Ohio trees, a fishing pond (no license required to fish here), wildlife ponds, 2 miles of hiking trails, picnic shelters (grills & electricity - call to reserve), & mowed grassy areas for games. Water fountains & restroom facilities nearby.
The Sanctuary & the Reserve are not connected & requires a short drive from one to the other. Maps are available through the Miami County Parks.
